Overview
This demo guide explains the basic workflow for adding the CHAT App widget to a website. It is based on Devad.io CHAT documentation topics and is intended for staging review.
Before You Start
Confirm that your CHAT App account is active and that you can access the admin area where the widget code is generated.
Installation Steps
- Open the CHAT App admin area.
- Copy the widget installation code for the target website.
- Paste the code before the closing body tag or through your tag manager.
- Clear cache and open the website in a private browser window.
Validation Checklist
- The chat launcher appears on desktop and mobile.
- The widget does not overlap important buttons.
- Test messages arrive in the correct inbox.
